Cooperative Education (Work Placement)
As part of the MABE Department Bachelor of Engineering programmes students undertake an 8-month work placement relevant to their course of study (the longest placement of any university in Ireland). The student will have completed two years of their undergraduate programme before going on placement, allowing them to contribute positively to their placement company, while gaining valuable real world industrial experience. If you or your organisation are interested in becoming a cooperative student employer please feel free to contact the MABE Department directly or contact the UL Cooperative Education and Careers Division.
